Animal tracks - the kids were SURE they were from polar bears!
Being an explorer doesn't come without risks. The snow was soft but covered with a thin layer of ice. This meant that occasionally the kids would fall through and their legs would actually be trapped! We had to go around rescuing our friends. A few boots also got swallowed up and had to be recovered!
Snow sensory table from our Winter Walk
Our igloo is getting so big!!!
We did some Welcome Work as well:

Throwing pompom snowballs into cups and then counting to practice our gross motor skills and math

Using different tools to sort snowballs into different sizes
